Laurinburg, N.C. – November 2, 2018; 11:20 a.m. – The Sanitation Department is still working on making one pass down every street in the City picking up storm debris related to Hurricane Florence.  After this storm passed, the collection crews started in the West section of the City and has, thus far, made one pass through the West, North, and East sections of the City.  The collection crews are currently on the South section of the City.  Please refer to the map below to see where the crews are currently working in this South section.  They are currently working in the area marked as 4 (near the north end of Purcell Rd.) on the South section.

The crews are currently working Monday through Saturday in these cleanup efforts.  Once a pass has been made through the South section, the crews will go back into the West section and repeat the cycle again.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.
