Daniel Walters elected to NCDDA Board of Directors

Laurinburg, N.C.- July 12, 2021- The City of Laurinburg’s Downtown Development Coordinator, Daniel Walters, was recently elected as the Southeast Regional Director of the NCDDA (North Carolina Downtown Development Association). For the past 4 years, Daniel has led the City of Laurinburg’s Main Street program and has been the leader in the downtown revitalization efforts.

The North Carolina Downtown Development Association is the leader in education and advocacy for economic growth and development in North Carolina’s downtowns. NCDDA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional membership organization that is led by a 21-member volunteer board of directors, which meets quarterly. Members include downtown development managers; coordinators and Main Street managers; economic developers; town planners; town managers; architects, landscape architects; developers; and other professionals related to the development of North Carolina’s downtowns.
